Como se acordó durante sesión de clausura del I Encuentro de la Oceanografía Física Española, ya hemos empezado a recibir y a colgar de la página web de l'OCEÀ, las comunicaciones (tanto orales como pósters) presentadas en el EOF 2010.
Podéis acceder a ellas en el apartado correspondiente al encuentro (http://www.locea.org/index.php/encuentro-oceanografia-fisica-espanola). Conforme vayamos recibiendo nuevas presentaciones las iremos colgando en la misma página.

El grupo l’OCEA establece los Premios a los mejores trabajos de investigación sobre temas de Oceanografía Física en España finalizados durante el periodo del 1 de agosto de 2009 al 31 de julio de 2010, con el objetivo de promover la investigación de calidad en este ámbito.

Professor Bob Pressey leads a research program on conservation planning within the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Coral Reef Studies. Bob has three years of funding for a research fellow to work collaboratively with Queensland Parks and Wildlife on an innovative project on the management costs of Queensland's terrestrial reserves. The main objectives of the project are to compile data on current management costs of reserves, by management activity; work with managers to estimate enhanced management costs of reserves, by management activity, to meet explicit standards for management effectiveness; compile data on potential internal and external drivers of management costs for individual reserves; and develop statistical models to identify drivers of management costs and predict future management costs of existing and additional reserves, considering land use change and climate change. Objectives:
The Yggdrasil mobility programme promotes the internationalisation of Norwegian research by offering grants to international Ph.D. students and younger researchers in connection with research stays in Norway. The programme seeks to make Norway an attractive research destination for highly qualified international Ph.D. students and younger researchers in all subject areas, thus strengthening the Norwegian research communities involved.
